Who wins?

Despite the loss to Minnesota, Michigan basketball is still ranked fifth according to the Kenpom rankings and is the only team outside of Baylor to rank in the top 10 in both offensive and defensive adjusted efficiency.

Maryland is ranked 45th according to Kenpom and is ranked 86th in terms of its defense and that’s where Michigan will take advantage.

Outside of Dickinson, Franz Wagner is the guy to watch tonight. He’s been really good attacking the basket and after a rough outing Saturday, he will respond with a stellar effort. Isaiah Livers will also hit multiple shots from deep, as will Chaundee Brown.

Those three guys are going to get good looks because of Dickinson. Mike Smith also isn’t going to go a second straight game without scoring and he torched Maryland in the first meeting to the tune of 16 points and six assists.

That’s because Maryland struggles to defend ball screens, which is where Smith excels. The offense will get back on track Tuesday night and for that matter, the entire team will as the Wolverines will improve to 7-1 in the Big Ten. They also cover the spread.
