Wings

Isaiah Livers: B-

With Dickinson struggling, this is the kind of game that Livers needed to take over and he just wasn’t able to do it. He was strong attacking the basket, played solid on the defensive end and grabbed nine rebounds, but outside of the three treys he was able to knock down, he wasn’t able to create much offense and didn’t get to the free throw line.

Franz Wagner: C-

It’s hard to grade Wagner too harshly when he finished with game with eight points and nine rebounds but the biggest problem I have with his outing is that he didn’t score in the first half and was also 0 of 4 from 3-point range. If Dickinson struggles, it’s really on guys like Wagner and Livers to carry the load and they combined to go 7-for-20 overall and 3-for-11 from beyond the arc.

Taking both ends of the floor into account, both Wagner and Livers had two of the better showings against Minnesota, but like Dickinson, I expect more of Wagner at this point. He can’t go 20 minutes without a bucket.

Terrance Williams: B

Williams probably could have been graded as a big and that’s where he’s been but I just decided to add him on the end. It doesn’t seem worth grading the guys who played three minutes and Williams only played six, but he grabbed two boards and hit a trey. That’s significant because if he can shoot the ball consistently, he will find minutes. He’s a competitor and does the little things.
