The defense is unconsciously suffocating

It seemed like during the lengthy run that wherever the ball went, a Michigan defender was there to stop the play. They finished the night with nine total blocks and won be 23, which it could have been a lot worse. The Badgers ended the evening shooting a mere 31% compared to the 52% that the maize and blue accomplished.

The defense has been doing this for a couple of games in a row now and it would be a welcomed norm if things continue to play out like that. Hunter Dickinson is a wall in the paint and Franz Wagner is trending upwards with the defensive effort that he has established for himself over the last few victories.

There performances on that side of the ball cannot be unappreciated by any stretch. When they play like that , they are virtually unbeatable.

That will be something that the rest of the country will have to deal with whenever they go head to head with the Wolverines as the do or die postseason tournaments near closer on the calendar.
