Make a big offer to Mike Hart

There has been a lot of talk about Mike Hart and after the season Indiana had with him as running back’s coach and assistant head coach, it makes sense that there would be interest in the former alum.

People have talked about a culture problem at Michigan. I don’t know if that’s 100 percent true but I do think that having a former Wolverine like Hart on staff could help. He could also do more than just coach running backs.

I’m not sure if Hart has interest in being a play caller or offensive coordinator but it’s possible he could be enticed with a co-offensive coordinator role that allowed him to be a run-game coordinator of sorts.

While Jay Harbaugh has done a great job recruiting, the running backs room could certainly use someone with Hart’s ability to develop players at that position.

It might take offering him to be assistant head coach to Harbaugh, but the guy is a rising star in the coaching ranks and Michigan would be better with him on staff.
