2. Livers breaks out of slump and scores 18 or more

Michigan basketball has so many guys that can hurt you on any given night. The Wolverines are deep, efficient, and can get good production from just about anyone in the rotation.

This has been such a good luxury for Michigan because it can win any game even if a couple guys have an off night.

Livers is in a bit of a slump right now for the Wolverines. Thankfully, several other guys have stepped up and Livers’ lack of production has been quiet because it hasn’t resulted in any losses.

Livers has scored 10 or fewer points in three of his last four games. He is also only shooting at 30% from deep during that same four game stretch. He has seemed to force more shots as of late instead of letting the game come to him. With everyone else in the rotation playing well right now, this seems like a perfect game for Livers to break out and score a lot of points.

I think this might be the game where we finally see Hunter Dickinson struggle a bit. He’s matched up against Liam Robbins who is a terrific center. He will be by far the best center that Dickinson has gone up against to date. If Dickinson does indeed struggle, Michigan basketball will have to win the battle of the wings and that’s why I see Livers breaking out and having a big game.

Seniors have to step up in big games and I expect Isaiah Livers to do so against Minnesota.
