Dickinson will dominate in different ways

Much like Nebraska, Northwestern is probably going to throw more double teams at Dickinson then most teams and even if it limits his scoring, he can impact the game in other ways.

Dickinson is shooting 72 percent from the field and averaging 16.6 points per game, numbers that get even better when it’s just the Big Ten. This will be another test though, yet it will also test Northwestern, which has been stingy against the 3-point shot.

If the Wildcats pay more attention to Dickinson, that should lead to good looks for Franz Wagner, Isaiah Livers, Mike Smith, Eli Brooks and others. Northwestern also isn’t great at defending the bucket and at some point, Dickinson will score inside. He’s just too good.

However, it seems like Northwestern will work very hard to make someone other than Dickinson beat them and if that happens, the Wolverines 3-point shooters can and will make them pay.
