Dickinson shows off again

After not scoring until about the eight-minute mark of the first half, it would have been understandable if Hunter Dickinson didn’t reach double figures in scoring for the first time as a Michigan basketball player.

But when Dickinson got on a roll, he scored quickly and finished the game with 13 points and 15 rebounds in his second-career double-double.

In the first seven games of his career, Dickinson has been nothing short of dominant for the Wolverines. He’s been their leading scorer and rebounders and his two blocked shots and other impacted shots also made a big difference.

He’s also wise beyond his years as a player.

Nebraska clearly had a plan to attack Dickinson with double teams and while it did lead to five turnovers, it also led to a lot of open looks for guys like Wagner and Livers.

Dickinson is such a good passer and has tremendous vision which allows Juwan Howard to run the offense through him. At this point, he is showing no signs of slowing down and seems like a strong bet for Big Ten Freshman of the Year.
