Who wins?

This game should make you worried as a Michigan basketball fan and really any Big Ten road game is nothing to scoff at. Nebraska doesn’t have what it takes to be a contender in the Big Ten yet, but that doesn’t mean the Huskers can’t pull the upset at home.

They were able to hang with Wisconsin and they have some very good shooters Teddy Allen, Kobe Webster, Dalano Banton and Trey McGowens.

Yet, Michigan has two established Big Ten veterans in Livers and Wagner, plus Mike Smith and Chaundee Brown. Those guys have had success in different parts of their games this season, but in one fashion or another, they’ve contributed in a positive way in every game.

With the layoff, I’d expect some rust and Michigan has been susceptible to slow starts this season, although having Dickinson in the starting lineup should help with that.

Depth is a concern without Austin Davis and Dickinson cannot afford to get in foul trouble. The Wolverines will also need some of their shooters — Brown, Livers, Wagner and Smith  — to show up and keep pace with the Huskers.

In the end, they’ll do enough and Michigan will win a hard-fought game.
