Will Xavier Worthy stick?

Another huge question looming for the Wolverines on early signing day, is can they hold the commitment of four-star receiver Xavier Worthy?

Worthy is ranked as the No. 12 wide receiver in the 2021 class and the kid has Desean Jackson speed and committed to the Wolverines over the summer but recently took a trip to Alabama and afterwards, announced that he would make his decision on signing day.

Obviously, since he was committed to U-M, that didn’t seem like a good sign. And since Josh Gattis had a strong part in him coming, all the rumors about the coaching staff seemed to impact him.

But in the last few days, there seems to be more momentum for Michigan to keep him and here’s what Sam Webb wrote for the Michigan Insider ($):

"“Things continue to trend in a positive direction for Michigan and its aim to fight off Alabama for the commitment.”"

Jim Harbaugh has been telling recruits that he’s committed to Michigan and it seems like they believe it. And if Jim is able to land Worthy and Edwards on top of McCarthy, you get the feeling he will be back on that three-year deal.
