How to watch, keys to victory for Michigan Basketball against UCF
Michigan basketball will look to improve to 5-0 Sunday with a win over UCF. Here’s how to watch, listen and stream, plus keys to victory.
While not much is a given during this Michigan basketball season, it looks like everything is a go between the Wolverines and Central Florida Sunday.
The two teams will meet in the first of a home-and-home series and the first game will be at the Crisler Center Sunday in Ann Arbor.
For Michigan basketball, UCF will represent the highest-ranked opponent it has faced in the Kenpom rankings at this point and the one with the most high-major talent.
The Knights, led by Johnny Dawkins, have a number of former high-ranking recruits including 6-foot-8 C.J. Walker who once played at Oregon and was a top-30 player out of high school.
The Wolverines are ranked 23rd according to Kenpom and have the No. 12 adjusted offense, while UCF is 106 overall and has the No. 63 defense.
With the Knights length and their athleticism, they should provide a really good test for the Michigan offense. We’ll see if guys like Franz Wagner and Mike Smith can continue to penetrate and if Isaiah Livers can continue his insanely hot shooting start.
But before we get to the keys to victory Sunday, here’s how to watch, listen and stream to Michigan basketball against UCF.

Keys
A big key in this matchup for Michigan basketball will be taking care of the basketball. The Wolverines have committed 13 turnovers or more in each of the last two games and the Knights forced 22 against Auburn.
If Michigan can take care of the basketball and force UCF to play its half-court offense and not give them easy buckets, it should make it tough on the Knights, who just aren’t a great shooting team.
Hopefully, we see Hunter Dickinson with the starting lineup. With Big Ten play starting in less than a week, the move needs to happen. And against good teams, you can’t afford to put yourself in a hole because you didn’t want to start one of your best players.
Finally, it would be nice to see Wagner and Livers get going at the same time. Wagner hasn’t shot the ball enough this season and if the Wolverines are going to hit their ceiling, they need both of those guys playing at a high level.
