Isaiah Livers: A

On the offensive end of the floor, you can’t play much better than Livers than did Wednesday night as he made 8-of-11 shots for 21 points. He’s shooting 62 percent from the field and 52 percent on 3-pointers, while averaging 20 points a game. So far, his decision to return has been a good one because if he keeps this up, he will get drafted by an NBA team in 2021.

Franz Wager: B

Wagner had his best performance of the year offensively as he scored 14 points on 4-of-6 shooting. Still, he hasn’t quite made the impact that he was expected to this season. He was really hyped up during the offseason and he appeared to press during the first few matchups, drawing some offensive fouls. Right now, Wagner is taking just seven shots per game, which is behind Livers, Dickinson, Chaundee Brown and right ahead of Brooks (6.7) and Smith (6). Livers is shooting 12 times per game and the Wolverines need to find a way for Wagner to shoot more.

Chaundee Brown: B

So far, you have to love the addition of Brown to Michigan basketball. He’s found the ideal role off the bench and scored nine points on 4-of-7 shooting with one triple against Ball State. His defense was good too and that’s one of his best attributes. But he turned the ball over too much and didn’t do much as a rebounder either.
