Receivers/Tight Ends – C-

They made a couple of nice grabs, including the jumping catch by A.J. Henning, but overall they again were just there.

Ronnie Bell continues to be the go-to-guy but do you remember any great play from him? Me either. Of course they don’t get much of a chance to do anything when the only play called is a two to four yard pass. It’s tough to make plays when those are the play calls.

The tight ends were mostly absent, but that again could be the playing calling.

There isn’t much to say about the receivers because they weren’t given much of a chance. Part of that could have been the injury to McNamara, but either way the play calling was horrible.

Running Backs – A

Look this group played well. Haskins was again a workhorse when he got the ball (if you know why they stopped giving him the ball in the first half after the first drive, please let me know).  He looked great on the first drive and after that and the last game against Rutgers it looked like they were going to ride him all day. They didn’t but he still made plays when he got back in.

Blake Corum had a few good runs and so did Chris Evans. It is ok to run those guys out there when Haskins needs a break, but not to be the feature guy in for a drive. They didn’t do anything poorly though.

Haskins needs to be the guy they just ride the rest of the season. He has proven to be worthy and the best guy out there. Give him the ball and give it to him often.
