Offensive Line – C+

Look the offensive line is a patchwork of players right now. They are playing new positions or having guys starting for the first time. But with all of that, they did a decent job last night.

It wasn’t anything spectacular but they did enough to give Cade McNamara time and give just enough holes for Hasan Haskins at the end of the game.

The problem is the holes were small and weren’t always there. It might have been more on how Haskins ran than what the offensive line did.

They did give up just two sacks, but there was pressure throughout the night. But with as much pressure as the Scarlet Knights were trying to put on the Wolverines, the offensive line held up well.

They still have a long ways to go to be a good unit and this was just Rutgers, but it was something to build upon. They didn’t play poorly and they performed when they needed to. It would have been nice to have a better running game and that starts with the line, but in the end, they came through when they needed to.
