Cade McNamara is the best option at quarterback on the roster.

For the second straight week Cade McNamara came to the aid of the offense and gave it a jolt it did not have with Joe Milton at the helm.

He was much more efficient while moving the the ball downfield than Milton was once again. He should without any doubt get all the reps with the ones for what remains of this dreadful season.

McNamara shredded the Rutgers defense to the tune of five total touchdowns. It was against a lowly Rutgers defense, but he solidified the position moving forward. The offense showed some signs of life under his reigns in last week’s blowout and McNamara reaffirmed those same sentiments Saturday.

Hassan Haskins and Cornelius Johnson were also spotlighted on the offense throughout the night. Both eclipsed the 100 yard mark in their own respective ways. Haskins sealed the game clinching touchdown in triple overtime, while Johnson caught two scores to bolster his best stats of his short career at Michigan.
