The dejected body language is all over the place.
No energy, emotion, fire or inspiration has been shown from Jim Harbaugh’s men for their third straight loss. They continue to open up the contest as flat as a sheet of paper. Before the Wolverines know it the score is 28-0 and there’s no chance for a slim comeback.
That is on the coaches to get their guys ready for kickoff and until something changes, there is little to no hope for a turnaround.
Getting demoralized on a weekly basis and knowing that going into a matchup is a humbling experience that lowers the confidence of a team even before things get started. This is a reccurring existence that should have been put to a halt three weeks ago.
Waiting until the second half to show some signs of life is basically saying they only want to execute for 30 minutes instead of the full 60.
Not wanting to play for every down like it is your last in such a one of a kind season is worrisome. Whether it’s the fear of COVID-19 out there or something else, it has affected the entire program in every way thinkable.
