Michigan will win at least 6 games.

Getting Penn State, Wisconsin and Michigan State at home are game-changers for the Wolverines. Recent history proves that to be the case and it’s also on their side with daunting trips to Indiana and Minnesota out of the gates.

If Harbaugh’s bunch falls in Minneapolis in two weeks, then the season will already be considered as a failure well before it gets going.

By just perusing the landscape the maize and blue could arguably win the first seven. There are no guarantees by any means, but it’s not out of the question either.

The ones that standout as the most concerning are some of the previously mentioned affairs, along with the inevitable showdown in Columbus.

Champions week and a bowl destination are a complete unknown until December roles around. So starting fast in Minneapolis will definitively be the key to managing the whole thing in general.

Beating a top 25 team on the road to get the ball rolling is something that hasn’t happened for a long time inside the conference and even outside of Big Ten openers.
