Joe Milton will throw for over 2,000 yards and run for over 300.

Heading into the 2020 season Milton has been garnering unwarranted hype at the quarterback position that’s not been seen under Jim Harbaugh’s tutelage.

Social media is a buzz with some of the things that he looks to be capable of, but has yet to be seen when it comes to significant game action. With that being said, not having sky high expectations for Milton is the right way to view him until proven otherwise.

On the rushing side of things, Milton can reasonably surpass 300 yards for the campaign. We’ve seen how deceptively fast he can be and that bodes well for him when the play breaks down.

He shouldn’t have to run too much with the bevy of talented backs that line up next to him. Of course the concern of how well the offensive line holds up will be the ultimate outlier for how the entire offense performs in 2020.

Looking at the schedule Milton has a real chance at putting up formidable numbers right off the bat. 200 plus yards passing a game with a sprinkle of a 300 yard breakout or two appears viable in nine outings. Add that all up and it’s not unreasonable to think that he could likely exceed over 2,500 yards altogether.
