Michigan Football: Ranking 2020 opponents by difficulty

4. vs Wisconsin – November 14th

These next four games are going to be tough for the Wolverines. Playing Wisconsin and Minnesota as the crossover games is a tough gauntlet to manage, but not impossible. The Badgers might be better than the Gophers but we think having to play at Minnesota the first game of the year is going to slightly tougher than playing at home against Wisconsin.

The Wolverines have fared well at home against the Badgers, but have struggled in Madison. Luckily this game is at home and is followed by a game with Rutgers.

Wisconsin will come in wanting to run the ball like they always do, but with Jonathan Taylor gone, it will be interesting to see how effective they will be. Michigan has won against the Badgers when they have made the quarterback beat them and that is exactly what they must do in this one.

Jack Coan played very well last year, but he had Taylor as his running back and that would help almost any quarterback. Can he carry a team without Taylor is a big question mark and one the Wolverines need to make happen. If they can do that, then they should be able to come away with a win.
