Michigan at Rutgers (W)

Rutgers has never really lived up to what people were hoping the Scarlet Knights could be in the Big Ten, but now that Greg Schiano is back, they should be better.

His first recruiting class has been strong and that shows that eventually, he will be able to make Rutgers respectable again. But that’s not happening this year. The game will be more competitive, but Michigan is the second-most talented team in the league and it will show this week.

Penn State at Michigan (W)

As with Wisconsin, I am not buying into Penn State being a top-10 team. I also don’t think they are the second-best team in the Big Ten conference. Sean Clifford is a solid quarterback, but he didn’t set the world on fire a year ago and completed just 59 percent of his throws.

Jim Harbaugh and company have also had success against Penn State. Jim is 3-2 against Franklin and has blown out the Nittany Lions in both of their trips to Ann Arbor.

If Penn State was better at quarterback, I’d buy a win in Ann Arbor, yet Milton will be just as good as Clifford, if not better. Micah Parsons, the Nittany Lions best player and defender, may not play in 2020 and I won’t believe Penn State can win at the Big House until it actually does it.
