Ohio State will beat Don Brown and company again

I’ll preface this by saying that I believe Brown is a solid DC and I honestly believe Michigan’s defense will be about as good as any in the Big Ten.

That being said, even really good or even elite defenses, have a hard time slowing down elite offenses. Last year’s Orange Bowl was a good example of that and the entire College Football Playoff.

If Michigan is going to beat Ohio State, it’s going to have to score 40-50 points in order to do so and it’s as simple as that, especially with Fields back at quarterback.

That’s just the way the game is played now. If you can hold you opponnent under 30 points, you should be able to win the game and I think the Wolverines will do that most of the year.

I just don’t think it will happen that week. The defensive will be improved. The pass rush should be good, in fact, the entire defensive line should be better.

Daxton Hill will also make a big difference in the secondary, whether he spends most of his time at safety or corner. That’s why I think Michigan will be 6-1 or 7-0 heading into Columbus.

However, if they Wolverines want to win, they might need six or seven touchdowns in order to make it happen.
