Making Joe Milton’s job easier

Michigan football will still just have one starter returning on the offensive line in Mayfield, but with a new starting quarterback in Milton, that will be a big comfort to the new signal caller.

Milton doesn’t have much playing experience, outside of a few garbage time situations as a freshman and sophomore, so there will surely be some growing pains.

However, Milton is coming into a better situation than some people realize. With Mayfield back, he will be playing in front of two athletic and experienced tackles, which should give him time in the pocket.

Mayfield is also an exceptional run blocker and having him back will absolutely help the Wolverines run the ball better with Zach Charbonnet, Chris Evans, Hassan Haskins and Blake Corum.
