Another good get for Jay

There’s always some interesting notes that come out after a recruitment and in the case of Dunlap, we learned from Lorenz ($) that Jay Harbaugh was essential in making this happen.

"“Two sources indicated to 247Sports that Oklahoma State actually led this race until late. Jay Harbaugh did an excellent job closing on this one as OSU appeared to have the upper hand below the radar.”"

The decision from Dunlap apparantly came last weekend after Harbaugh helped Michigan football make up ground against the Cowboys.

Dunlap isn’t Edwards, but he’s another really good get for Harbaugh, who is silencing his critics as the running backs coach.

Lorenz said that Michigan views Dunlap as a top-10 back and that’s legit. U-M is always very good on its evaluations and looking back at the last few classes, Harbaugh has reeled in Blake Corum, Zach Charbonnet and now Dunlap, plus, hopefully, Edwards.

That’s a good haul and even if the Wolverines miss out on Don, the running back room is in good shape right now thanks in large part to the efforts of Jay Harbaugh.
