Edwards, Benny

While Rooks, Kendall and David are all top priorities for Michigan football this cycle, Edwards and Benny are the two dudes Michigan simply has to get. If so, this class is a success, bottom line.

4-star RB Donovan Edwards: Buy

The one thing about Michigan football is that its done a great job recruiting Edwards. Head coach Jim Harbaugh has established a strong relationship with Edwards and the Wolverines have never pushed him to make a decision.

He has always been a major priority in this class and probably the top guy on the board. He seems comfortable with Michigan not playing in the fall and with Oklahoma, another top contender trending with running back Camar Wheaton, things are looking better and better.

4-star DT Rayshaun Benny: Buy

As far as Benny, Michigan seems to be in a strong position here. Like with Edwards, all of the crystal ball projections are going to the Wolverines.

If Benny had the chance to take visits, that could change things as some teams on his top list, he hasn’t visited. Penn State is another team to watch in this recruiting battle too that’s close to home.

Still, the Wolverines recruited him as a defensive tackle when others weren’t and Shaun Nua has done a great job here, at least good enough to get Rayshaun into the 2021 class.
