Buying or selling whether top Michigan football recruits will end up committing to the Wolverines in 2021.

Since the commitment of Rocco Spinder to Notre Dame, there hasn’t been much movement with Michigan football and its 2021 recruiting class.

Here we are, a few days away from the end of August, and still, no word from offensive line recruit Drew Kendall.

We are also still waiting on an announcement or really any type of news from defensive line recruit George Rooks.

If you looked at the two Michigan football targets in 2021 most likely to commit next, it would likely be Rooks or Kendall. Both have talked about deciding in August and while Rooks had stayed out of the limelight, Kendall keeps waffling.

Kendall talked about deciding in July, then it was August, then it was after Rocco and most recently, his timeline has moved to sometime in September.

Rooks has never really talked about when he would make a decision. His coach just speculated recently that it would be coming soon.

Donovan Edwards and Rayshaun Benny are other top targets, in fact, they ARE Michigan’s top targets right now and they have also sent mixed signals on timelines.

Edwards always wanted to take his recruitment to signing day, but if he can’t take his five official visits, there probably isn’t much point. The same goes for Benny who said he could even push his decision past December.

Yet, there have also been hints, especially from Edwards, that he’s sick of the process. So maybe he pulls the trigger soon than expected.

Outside of Edwards, Rooks, Kendall and Benny, other targets for Michigan right now are Daymond David, Ceyair Wright, Tavierre Dunlap, Kamari Lassiter, Jay Toia and Jayden Thomas.

At this point, it doesn’t seem like there is anyone else worth discussing, so here’s a breakdown of whether to buy or sell each recruit joining Michigan’s 2021 class.
