Michigan Football: Predicting Wolverines’ 2021 depth chart
Tight end
Starter: Erick All
Backups: Luke Schoonmaker, Louis Hansen
Sort of like Chris Evans, Nick Eubanks finds himself in a tough spot. He got some draft buzz after catching 25 passes for 293 yards and four touchdowns in 2019.
Eubanks would have to either play in the spring of 2021 and wait for the 2022 draft or just declare for the 2021 draft and hope for the best.
Declaring for the draft seems to be the best choice. It will leave Michigan football a little thin at tight end, but Erick All is ready to take a leap and Luke Schoonmaker will turn some heads.
Louis Hansen is also a very talented freshman and I’d expect him to get some playing time too. He’s a top-100 prospect according to Rivals and if enrolls early, he can show it in the spring.
