Michigan Football: Revisiting 5 games that molded 2019 season

Both of these affairs were tighter than expected for a small duration of the outings. Michigan jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead on the Buckeyes and was only down one at the break.
Michigan was ahead of the Crimson Tide at the half and within five after three-quarters of play. Things went south shortly after those feel-good moments occurred.
Justin Fields opened it up in the third with two drives of five minutes or less. Alabama wore down Don Brown’s defense to outlast the lesser matched Wolverines.
Nick Saban’s goliath hammered down the exclamation point on Harbaugh’s fourth year with a two-game losing streak that didn’t sit well with anyone who dawns the maize and blue.
Losing the way they did in a back-to-back fashion should have put a chip on their shoulders entering the autumn of 2020.
That was unceremoniously taken away from them and every other athlete who is lucky enough to play the game of football for a living. Now waiting patiently until spring or next fall to provide another glimpse of the sport that is universally cherished is all we can hope for.
