Michigan Football: Revisiting 5 games that molded 2019 season

The second half of the game of the week almost became Michigan’s finest hour as Harbaugh mentioned post halftime.
It would have arguably turned the season completely around had the Wolverines left triumphantly out of Happy Valley. We’ll never know what might have been had Ronnie Bell not dropped the game-tying touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Although Michigan football went down 21-0 midway through the second, the Wolverines somehow found momentum to get them back in the fight.
Charbonnet scored twice and suddenly it was a one-score ballgame. Everything felt like it was turning in the right direction until KJ Hamler got open for a deep pass in the fourth to put the chase out of Michigan’s reach.
One takeaway to remember from that night was that Michigan’s offense finally came to life under Josh Gattis. They earned a solid 400 total yards on a respectable defense while handling the clock in their favor for over 15 minutes. Had Michigan found a sense of urgency from the outset, then maybe Harbaugh would have captured his biggest win as the head man.
