Michigan Football: Revisiting 5 games that molded 2019 season

Wisconsin
The Wisconsin loss came at the absolute worst time imaginable on the schedule. Two weeks following a near colossal embarrassment against Army in the Big House, Harbaugh’s crew failed to embrace the magnitude of the showdown in enemy territory. Wisconsin thoroughly exposed Michigan for not being a real top 25 contender.
Jonathan Taylor ran threw the defense like swiss cheese. He galloped for over 200 on the ground in a typical Wisconsin workmanlike performance.
Before they went to the locker rooms to regroup it was already 28-0. Michigan’s offense didn’t score until late in the third and by then the reality of the large deficit was too much to overcome.
Nothing good came out of that awful defeat. The offense turned the ball over four times and was more than doubled up in the time of possession.
It was a fate that seemed destined to happen after the bye week and the nationally televised showcase of the lackluster win over Army. Many questions surrounded the program after the abysmal road woes continued.
