No. 3 Eli Brooks

Eli Brooks came into his own last season and became a reliable scoring option for Howard and the Wolverines. He increased his scoring average from 2.5 ppg to 10.6 ppg and started all thirty games.

It is noted that the Wolverines added two guards from the transfer portal but Eli should keep a starting spot in 2020. He made great strides in the first year under Coach Howard and he will only get more comfortable in year two.

Brooks is a capable scorer from all three levels. He led the team in 3-point attempts last season with 153. He shot 36.4 percent from behind the long line, making 4+ three’s in five games.

Eli has a good mid-range game and loves the shot from the elbow, which allows him to get to the rim because defenders have to respect the shot.

Heading into his senior season, Brooks will look to increase his scoring average for the second straight season. It would be no surprise if he scored 12 ppg in 2020.

No. 2 Isaiah Livers

Michigan basketball got a huge boost for next season when Livers decided to come back to Ann Arbor for his senior season. Livers went through the draft process but pulled his name out of the draft pool after getting information on his draft stock.

He is ready for one more season in the maize and blue.

Livers shooting line is as follows – .491/.402/.957. That is ridiculous. 50/40/90 seasons don’t just happen and that speaks to the level of work that Livers has put in, in his time at Michigan.

Howard made it clear that Livers was the top option for the Wolverines early on last season. Livers was off to a hot start scoring over 20 points in two of the first four games. He showed his scoring versatility in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament.

Isaiah makes the offense go, when he is hitting shots, it creates more open looks for his teammates, resulting in more easy buckets.

If Livers is able to continue growing his isolation game, he could easily average 15 ppg in 2020.

He would be No.1 on the list but I am expecting a breakout season from a certain German teammate of his.
