Livers gives Michigan an array of 3-point shooters

Last season Livers was incredible from 3-point range shooting 40 percent and averaging 12.9 points per game. That’s a skill that will give Livers a chance to play in the NBA and if it wasn’t for injuries last season, his stock may have been higher.

But with him, the offense should be really good again for Michigan in 2020-21, especially if the Wolverines can get some solid play at point guard.

The loss of Zavier Simpson hurts, but Mike Smith is a legit shooter and scorer. He’s very effective scoring on ball screens and having both Livers and Wagner to space the floor will be huge.

Brown is another versatile wing, sort of like Livers, with a good shooting touch and Michigan fans have to be excited about the thought of pairing Brown, Livers and Wagner, with Smith and a big like Hunter Dickinson, Austin Davis or even Brandon Johns.

The Wolverines may not have a ton of creators in the way of Zavier Simpson, who excelled at getting shots for others, but with all the shooters on the floor and a guy like Livers who can get his own shot, the offense should still be plenty effective.
