Michigan football still has hope for at least a 10-game conference schedule and in that scenario, we predict the offensive stat leaders for 2020.

At this point, no one can say for certain whether there will or won’t be a 2020 Michigan football season. Much still needs to be decided, however, we do know the Wolverines will play a Big-Ten only schedule this season.

According to Chris Balas who covers the Wolverines for Rivals, the new Big Ten schedule is expected to be announced next week. It’s unclear if it will be the first schedule with one additional game or completely re-worked.

I’d expect five home games and five away games for each team, along with as little travel as possible. The date of the first games will also be interesting as you can likely expect some flexibility in order to allow each program a chance to play all games.

In terms of COVID-19, the University of Michigan has announced more test results. Of all the coaches and athletes, there have been 635 tests conducted and only eight positive tests.

That doesn’t mean we are any closer to a season, but it seems like a positive step in this small, limited sample.

The NCAA warned that the next two weeks will be critical in terms of actually having a season and one way or another, a decision should be coming soon. Fall camp isn’t that far away.

For now, we will continue with the assumption that the season goes on and with that in mind, here’s a prediction the offensive stat leaders for 2020.
