Michigan Basketball: Is a commitment from Will Tschetter imminent?
Crystal balls have been set and updated for Will Tschetter, indicating his future is with Michigan basketball. With so much movement, could a commitment be imminent?
First, Josh Henschke wrote an article explaining his reasoning for the crystal ball he placed in Michigan basketball‘s favor for three-star Will Tschetter.
“After doing some digging and speaking to some sources close to the situation,” Josh wrote. “I have placed a 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction for 2021 three-star wing Will Tschetter in favor of Michigan with a confidence score of 6.”
That article came out yesterday afternoon, and today at around noon, Sam Webb made the same prediction with a confidence level of 8. More movement came with Josh upgraded his confidence level to 8, as well.
On top of that, the interviews and in-depth coverage of Will hasn’t stopped. Partially due to his incredible improvement and leap in size. Tschetter is listed at 6-foot-8, 225-pounds, and he averages 34.4 points and 10.8 rebounds per game while also shooting 45% from beyond the arc.
Theo Mackie from UM Hoops noted in his interview of Tschetter that Will doesn’t plan on committing anytime soon. He wants to complete official visits and get to know the coaches better before he makes his final decision. Although, officials are not guaranteed in the current climate, and all parties involved understand that.
After all, there aren’t many who play Tschetter’s style of play, and the U-M coaches know it. Everyone else is just catching on, which is why it seems the Wolverines are the team to beat for Will.
So will he commit soon? The evidence suggests as such.
