Will Tschetter

There are certain kids who suffered more than their peers. It’s the kids that the scouts weren’t able to get out to before the shutdown, or if he or she was able to get scouted, they had an off night.

For Will Tschetter, no one was paying attention. They are now.

The 6-foot-8 forward from Stewartville, MN, blew up last season when he averaged 34.4 points and 10.8 rebounds a game while maintaining a hailstorm of threes with incredible accuracy (45%).

While he’s listed as a PF, Will can move over to the wing and play the Franz Wagner role, collapsing the boards and occasionally defending at the point while making plays on offense or waiting in the corner for the open shot.

His versatility is limitless, very much like Smith, but Will is a member of the 2021 class, and the interest is very much mutual between Tschetter and the Wolverines. Will values education and has excelled in high school with a 3.99 GPA while still leaving time to improve on his natural talents on the court.

As it stands today, Will isn’t ranked on 247 sports, but he will be soon, and Josh Henschke believes Michigan basketball is in the running for his services.

“While he doesn’t have a list of top schools at the moment, it’s my expectation (and OPINION) that the Wolverines would make any future cutdowns,” Josh wrote. “In my opinion, I like where the Wolverines currently sit for Tschetter though I am nowhere near comfortable to declare them the leader or discuss crystal ball action just yet.”

Rivals has Will has a three-star, No. 143 nationally, and the No. 26 PF.
