More contacts and a bonus

The recruiting didn’t stop for Michigan basketball with the five prospects highlighted above; there are several more and a bonus.

Gregg Glenn

-PF/Calvary Christian Academy

-Fort Lauderdale, FL

-247sports: 36 NATL, 6 PF, 7 FL

-Rivals: 37 NATL

-ESPN: 36 NATL, 11 PF, 7 FL

Gregg Glenn doesn’t get the easy layups and the one-on-one opportunities, he gets a zone defense that collapses quicker than the economy during a pandemic.

Glenn is a physical presence down low that can distribute quickly when needed, and he’s been invited to participate in USA basketball multiple times. Look for Glenn to skyrocket on recruiting boards soon. In the past few days, Gregg has earned offers from several promenade Division I schools, including Georgia Tech, Maryland, Arkansas, Pitt, and LSU.

Jack Karasinski

-SF/Grand Rapids Catholic Central

-Grand Rapids, MI

-247sports: Not Ranked

-Rivals: Not Ranked

In December, Mick McCabe from the Detroit Free Press put together the top 100 boys basketball players in Michigan. Where was Jack Karasinski? No. 31.

Jack is an intriguing prospect and one that can hit from all three levels and plays at the wing, but he has the ball-handling skills to drop to the two, which is ideal for Juwan Howard’s positionless system.

Skyy Clark

-CG/Brentwood Academy

-Brentwood, TN

-247 sports: 18 NATL, 1 CG, 2 TN

-Rivals: 17 NATL

-ESPN: 20 NATL, 4 PG, 3 TN

There is no doubting Skyy Clark‘s ability to dominate on a basketball court. Even at such a young age, Clark has the frame required for the college game, and he’s still growing.

Here’s Cats Illustrated David Sisk with the evaluation:

"Clark’s size is obvious right away. He was playing against grown men and he looked physically like he belonged. He’s every bit of 6’1, 200 pounds. He’s thick in the trunk as well as up in the shoulders in traps. This leads to some obvious questions. Will he grow? His father says the doctor reports that his growth plates haven’t closed yet, and he could still grow another three inches. It is natural though to have doubts. He’s muscular and strong looking for a sixteen year old. He also has facial and body hair. There are teenagers with that look before who matured early and capped out their growth around that age."

Bonus: Offer Dug McDaniel

Two days ago, Juwan and Co offered Dug McDaniel, a PG from the DMV area, and former teammate of Michigan basketball signees Hunter Dickinson and Terrance Williams.

Juwan has swooped into Maryland’s territory and snagged some highly coveted prospects from the area already, and he continues his daunting quest behind enemy lines to try and grab more athletes who would otherwise play for a local university.

Dug is ranked 41st nationally, the No. 9 PG, and No. 3 from the state of Virginia.
