Michigan Football: 5 Wolverines with big shoes to fill in 2020
Michigan football had 11 players drafted in the 2020 NFL draft and here are five who will have some big shoes to fill next season.
As we move closer and closer to the season for Michigan football, which welcomed its 2020 class of freshmen on campus not long ago and has a plan in place for the return of workouts too, there seems to be more uncertainty.
No one can say for sure when the 2020 season will begin or if it will happen at all. But like Jim Harbaugh said, we are going to plow ahead like there is a season until we know there isn’t or learn what changes might take place with the schedule.
Other than that, I’m planning on Michigan football heading to Washington, even though it continues to look less promising.
Yet, if nothing changes, the 2020 season isn’t far away. It’s actually in less than three months and while it seems kind of crazy to think we could have football games then, it does seem possible, especially with limited fans.
At any rate, when the season does start, Michigan football will have key pieces to replace on both sides of the ball as 11 players were selected in the 2020 draft and others, such as starting quarterback Shea Patterson, graduated and signed in the league as a rookie free agent.
Those departures left a big void in talent on each side of the ball. So here’s a look at five guys who will try to fill in at those spots next season.
