WR Dixon seems to be a lock

While the addition of Somerville will keep the momentum rolling on defense, the offense could use another four-star playmaker.

The Wolverines added a very underrated receiver in three-star Markus Allen, out of Ohio, however, Christian Dixon is ranked 166th according to the 247 sports composite rankings and 175th according to Rivals.

He’s also just about guaranteed to end up with the Wolverines unless something major changes. All of the predictions from Rivals have Dixon, a 6-foot-2 wideout going to U-M and 247 sports has 93 percent of them going that way too.

Notre Dame has one prediction left from a year ago, but all the other picks, which are for the Wolverines, have an average confidence rating of 8.

Adding bigger wideouts was a priority for Josh Gattis and the offense this cycle and guys like Dixon and Allen will be a perfect compliment down the road for Giles Jackson, Mike Sainristil and A.J. Henning.
