Howard gets another good one

Juwan Howard may have missed out on Josh Christopher and Isaiah Todd, but those were both unique situations. Outside of that, he’s done a tremendous job recruiting.

Not only did he bring in a very solid 2020 class, which will be the program’s foundation in a couple years, he also grabbed three transfers after losing some guys to the portal. The scholarship situation was looking dicey and now with Jalen Coleman-Lands still out there, Michigan basketball has reached its limit, assuming Livers comes back.

Brown, like Eastern, hasn’t realized his full potential yet, but he has shown flashes. He had five 20-point games last season for Wake Forest, including a 24-point, nine-rebound effort against Duke. He also scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds versus Notre Dame.

If he plays next season, his talent may be underutilized because he offers many of the same things Livers does. Wagner too. But if he sits for a year, learns the system and walks into a starting role on the wing in 2021-22, it will be the perfect addition.
