CB Andre Seldon

Andre Seldon might just be my favorite incoming freshman for Michigan football and when it’s all said and done, he will be the first to reach the starting lineup.

Most teams and most people would consider the nickel corner spot to be a starting job, because that defender is on the field for a lot of snaps and that’s my prediction for Seldon this season: He ends up winning the nickel job.

He’s only 5-foot-8, but he’s incredibly dynamic and he’s proven he can hold his own against some of the nation’s top high school receivers. He also caught the attention of cornerbacks coach Mike Zordich who had this to say to 247 sports:

"“I’m really impressed with that guy. The thing will him will be obviously learn the defense, learn the terminology and comfortable making the calls. That slows a guys down. But he’s competitive as hell now and he’s quick as hell.”"

Seldon also enrolled early which will help kickstart his Michigan football career a little early and he looks to have the best chance to make the most immediate impact of any freshmen next season.
