Put him where you want him

Scouts aren’t shying away from Wolverines. People can say they’re way behind the Buckeyes in talent, but UM keeps churning out NFL stars at a cyclic rate. One of the reasons why people tend to disregard a Michigan man is that they employ positions that don’t equate to anything at the next level.

In case you don’t follow the NFL, the Viper position isn’t a thing.

We saw the critiques when it came to Jabrill Peppers. People said he had all the athletic ability in the world, but he couldn’t cover adequately, or he wasn’t big enough to be a linebacker. Well, he found his niche in the pros.

The same thing will happen with Uche. He’ll find his way and with the proper guidance, and learned technique, Josh can play at just about any position. He has the speed to keep up in coverage, and he has the raw athletic ability to become whatever is needed of him.

Only time will tell what kind of player Josh becomes. Most likely, it will be on the defensive line as an end, although, with a little added strength, Josh can undoubtedly become a disruptive element at the second level.

dark. Next. 3 takeaways from Cesar Ruiz to the Saints
