Shooting guard

If Brandon Wade is a breakout star, that opens up a lot of options for Juwan Howard. Mostly at the shooting guard position.

The apparent starter here is Eli Brooks, but who’s next on the depth chart?

What Howard needs is another Brooks, someone who can come in off the bench, or split time, and average around 8-10 points a game.

Surely, Zeb will give you that if he doesn’t have to be the backup PG, but a more likely candidate is sophomore Cole Bajema. With one of the smoothest strokes on the team, Bajema has the opportunity to contribute during peak times instead of being used solely for garbage minutes.

Out of high school, Cole was ranked (according to 247 sports internal rankings) 74th nationally, the 19th best SF, and 3rd out of Washington. He can provide great length at the position, standing at 6-foot-7, and, as long as his defense is on par with his offense, he has the potential to be a pro one day.

And it’s not only me who believes that; Evan Daniels, from 247 sports, wrote in his scouting report that Cole is a projected second-rounder.

Adrien Nunez will likely be the second or third option here.
