Michigan Football: Top 5 games of the Jim Harbaugh era for Wolverines
By Ryan Kraus
Michigan football has had many memorable games under Jim Harbaugh and here are the top five.
The Michigan football team is headed into its year six with Jim Harbaugh in 2020. The first five seasons have brought 47 wins, including three 10-win seasons.
There have been close games and there have been blowouts, sorry Rutgers. Chase Winovich coined the Revenge Tour during the 2018 season, and Michigan football has played Florida 3(!!) times, coming out victorious twice.
The Wolverines pitched three straight shutouts in 2015, outscoring their opponents 97-0. Michigan ran into a buzzsaw after that with Michigan State and the infamous “Trouble with the snap” game. That play will forever be etched into the in-state rivalry.
The 2018 game against Northwestern featured a furious comeback. Michigan spotted the Wildcats a 17 point lead before scoring 20 unanswered points to win the game.
There have been games played in heavy rains and monsoon type conditions. If you are looking for any type of game just take a look back at the last five seasons for the Michigan football team and you will find it.
Narrowing down the list to the five best games was no easy task but I am going to give it my best shot. Let’s take a look at the list.
