Michigan football is in the mix for Detroit Cass Tech prospect Raheem Anderson who could be a good fit at center for the Wolverines.

Putting out top lists is all the rage right now among recruits and Michigan football made another Monday as four-star center Raheem Anderson released his top 11 and included the Wolverines.

Along with Michigan football, Anderson listed Nebraska, Michigan State, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Pitt, LSU, Louisville, Georgia and Purdue.

That’s a pretty wide array of teams but there is no shortage of interest for one of the top-ranked center prospects in the 2021 class.

Anderson recently picked up offers from Georgia and Arkansas. Out of Detroit Cass Tech, Anderson is ranked 211th overall and is also listed as the No. 3 center, as well as the seventh-best player in the state of Michigan.

As it stands right now, the Wolverines hold 60 percent of his crystal ball predictions from 247 sports, but there are still a bunch of teams in the mix. Anderson told 247 sports ($) that he was going to visit Georgia when the dead period was over, but that he was also keeping in contact with the Wolverines and other schools such as Michigan State.

While the Wolverines don’t have as much of a need for an interior prospect after nabbing four-star Greg Crippen, Steve Lorenz of The Michigan Insider ($) reported in late March that the coaching staff was still interested in Anderson.

Michigan is still in the mix for a few different offensive line prospects too, most notably Rocco Spindler, another in-state offensive line that the Wolverines have been focused on.

Still, Anderson would be a solid take for Michigan football if things went that way. He’s a top-300 player and one of the higher-ranked centers. He also has some position versatility and could play both guard and center for the Wolverines, which is always a plus.

He does seem to be very interested in the recent push from SEC teams but this one might come down to how hard the Wolverines push. It seems if they are really interested, they could make some headway, otherwise, it feels like Anderson could be headed elsewhere.
