Nico Collins

Over the past two seasons, wide receiver Nico Collins has done plenty to earn praise from Michigan football fans including his 13 touchdown receptions over the past two seasons.

Last year, he was the Wolverines offensive player of the year after he caught 37 passes for 729 yards and seven touchdowns. In the last two years, he has averaged 17.8 yards per reception and he might be the most talented guy currently on the roster.

With a solid campaign in 2020, Collins could easily be a first-round pick. It’s interesting that he’s the final four-star to make it at Michigan football out of Donovan Peoples-Jones, Tarik Black and Oliver Martin.

But as they say, “those who stay will be champions” and hopefully, that will prove to be true for Collins. It hasn’t determined who will be throwing him passes next season, Dylan McCaffrey or Joe Milton, but pestering him about that seems like a great idea to include him on the quarantine.

Plus, he’s tall and can jump high, so he might be able to rescue my cat the next time it gets stuck in a tree or contribute some other key tasks.

Next season though, it’s going to be all about catching touchdowns.
