Bajema

Cole Bajema is another guy I wouldn’t want to see transfer and at the end of the day, I don’t necessarily believe he will, he is just one of the more likely guys to leave, especially if Christopher and Todd end up in Ann Arbor.

The 6-foot-7 wing didn’t see much action in 2019-20, but when he did see the floor, he was productive and that’s one reason why him leaving as a transfer would sting. Bajema only saw time in nine games last season, but in his 37 minutes, he scored 26 points. The freshman was 6-of-6 on 2-point attempts and 4-of-7 on 3-pointers.

Obviously, all his metrics were off the charts and certainly, garbage time production isn’t enough to say he’s going to be a star, yet there’s enough there to know Bajema could be a rotation player and a valuable scorer off the bench.

After just spending one year in the program, I don’t think Bajema would leave, but maybe if Christopher commits and he finds himself having to battle for scraps of playing time, it might be something he considers because there’s no doubt this kid can play at the D1 level.
