Joshua Christopher

Michigan basketball might be viewed as the favorite for Joshua Christopher, but until he commits and signs on the dotted line, nothing is guaranteed.

However, one thing I feel safe predicting is that if Christopher does join the Wolverines, he will be among the starting five for Michigan in the 2020-21 season.

The 6-foot-4 guard is a legit five-star prospect and ranks 10th in 2020 according to the 247 sports composite rankings, as well as being listed as No. 3 shooting guard.

The kid can handle, shoot and attack the rim. He and Todd, who has committed but not signed yet, could be the most talented signees for Michigan basketball since the days of the Fab Five.

Ignas Brazdeikis ended up being a one-and-done at Michigan, but with Christopher, he’s clearly one of those guys and will be one of the core guys next season if he comes. And if you have any doubts about what he can do, here’s his scouting report from 247 sports:

"“Excellent strength and good length for a shooting guard. Functional athleticism. Makes plays in traffic. Has great body control and ability to make tough shots and shots off one foot. Solid ball handler. More scorer than passer but can distribute. Rebounds position. Has potential to be an outstanding, versatile defender. Has a high floor as a prospect.”"
