The what-ifs?

Depending on where your mind is, you can take things down a really dark path. If you have ever seen “Fever Pitch”, there is the scene where Jimmy Fallon, who plays a hardcore Red Sox fan re-watches the Bill Buckner game after his girlfriend breaks up with him.

It’s pretty hilarious but as a Michigan sports fan, you get it. Don’t act like you haven’t watch J.T. Barrett get stopped short 70 times, only to see the Buckeyes get awarded a first down, allowing them to steal a win that never should have been.

Since you might be working from home or just have extra time because you aren’t watching sports, re-live it. I have never actually re-watched that game from start to finish, maybe now would be a good time.

I also have to admit I have never been able to re-watch the 2013 national title loss against Louisville. I’m not saying you should, but if you need a distraction, watch Trey Burke get the cleanest block you have seen in your life then get called for a foul. Get all conspiratorial. At least now, you have the time.

I’m gonna watch the first half and then pretend the second half never happens. Then I can enjoy Spike Albrecht going off one last time. My heart still can’t bear the final 20 minutes.
