Free agency frenzy

One way to pass the time is to follow NFL free agency. The NFL announced that the league year would go ahead as scheduled and that it wouldn’t push back the start of free agency, choosing instead to let things be done remotely.

And while the official signing period starts Wednesday, teams can designate franchise players and also negotiate with players in what is regarded as the legal tampering period.

Amazingly, this is also the first time that former Michigan football quarterback Tom Brady is going to hit free agency. Whether he will go back to New England or join a new team remains to be seen but it will be fascinating to watch.

Michigan fans have always taken pride in what Brady has been able to do and obviously, Wolverine fans will want to keep up with his progress, which makes following free agency a no-brainer.

Plus it actually makes it feel a little more normal. Adam Schefter is dropping tweets and it feels like a normal March in at least some small way.
