Michigan Basketball: 3 Predictions for Wolverines in Ohio State rematch
Brooks will come back and spark Michigan
After the loss to Wisconsin, Howard wasn’t sure if Brooks was going to play against Ohio State and there still hasn’t been anything definitive.
Brooks is getting a mask made for him, so it doesn’t sound he is far off from playing and with everything thing at stake, it would be hard to keep him off the floor unless doctors just won’t clear him to play.
There is still a chance that Brooks won’t be ready to go, but if he is, it will make a huge difference. His defense and his ball-handling skills are much needed, plus his ability to knock down big shots.
His absence forced Franz Wagner and Isaiah Livers to play roles that don’t necessarily suit them and Brooks can help give Michigan the best lineup and the best chance to win.
Simply put, without one of its key cogs, this team is going to have a tough chance to win in Columbus and if Brooks isn’t in the lineup, I’d take Ohio State to win.
