Who wins?

This is a really tough call but it’s hard to bet against Michigan basketball the way the Wolverines have played recently. Rutgers won’t be easy to beat on the road since the Scarlet Knights haven’t lost at RAC yet this season.

But right now, the Wolverines are playing as well as any team in the Big Ten. Simpson has found his groove and had 12 assists in the last win as opposed to one turnover. When your point guard plays like that, you can win on the road and Simpson has been a man on a mission.

While Livers is a game-time decision, he claimed he would play and his presence has been huge for guys like Wagner and Johns. It has also helped Eli Brooks get some open looks, which to his credit, he has been knocking down consistently.

It’s hard to put a finger on it, but this Michigan basketball team just has a swagger right now. The game will be a battle and it’s going to come down to the end, yet it feels like U-M finds a way.
