Michigan Basketball: 3 takeaways from resume building rivalry win

Teske’s Struggles Are Becoming Concerning
Big sleep has had his work cut out for him over the last several outings. He’s been basically invisible on the offensive end against the Buckeyes and this afternoon. He shot 14 percent in Tuesday’s loss and just 25 percent Saturday. He didn’t even attempt a three-pointer and hasn’t made one since the Rutgers triumph.
By now Teske has definitely got to be banged up at this point in the season, but who wouldn’t be going against some of the hardest-working big men in the country on a weekly basis. Although there is no need for excuses to explain his play, the senior, who is counted on to be a standout for Michigan basketball, has got to get things back to his normal routine.
Austin Davis saw Teske’s primary backup minutes again. He made some more people take notice with timely effective moments that were vital in those certain spots. Davis is giving coach Howard more than what anyone could have imagined to date. His body is built for what this conference offers in the likes of Luka Garza, Daniel Oturu, Kaleb Wesson, the Illinois twin towers and Jalen Smith just to name a few.
